A step above any other Ebike on the market!
The Piezo is a step above the previous gen 7, and a step above any other Ebike I’ve had the pleasure to throw a leg over. I had the pleasure to test ride this bike at the HQ and it was an amazing experience. As a gen 7 rider for two years now let me tell you this was night and day comparatively. Here are some of the things I noticed while riding. 1.) Ride hight. The Piezo has a much higher and more comfortable ride hight. As someone who is about 6-6’1 in boots ebikes for me have a tendency to be.. a bit small for me. So this things 34inch seating hight was a DREAM. I was able to comfortably sit on this and get good leg extension while pedaling! 2.) Acceleration! This thing has a very comfortable and controllable acceleration. Many ebikes like this tend to have really twitchy acceleration that pushes you back on the seat and make it feel like the bike is trying to shoot out from under you. Which can be VERY intimidating and even dangerous for new riders. This bike has no such issue. The acceleration is smooth and steady. It climbs to the speed you want it to instead of trying to shoot straight to the top speed. I’d be totally ok recommending this bike to ANY new or inexperienced Ebike rider. They will have no issue controlling this bike first time. 3.) Quality of parts. The lights, the turn signals, the breaks, THE SEAT!! Everything is amazing. The turn signals are more than bright enough to be very clearly visible even during the middle of the day. While I didn’t have a chance to test the headlight at night. It was more than bright enough to light up a wall across the room in a well lit warehouse area. And they’re dot rated so the quality is much more reliable than most headlights on ebikes which are usually unrated nameless breads. The breaks are also amazing. So many E bikes of this caliber cut corners on the brakes usually opting to use bicycle disc brakes which wear out quickly and have to be replaced every few months. These have no such issue sporting instead 2 motorcycle quality disk breaks with great stopping power! 4) THE SEAT. Oh my god the seat. SOOOOO many ebikes cut corners on the seat making them usually quite uncomfortable. This seat is wide, soft, and long! It’s comfortable for all kinds of riding positions and allows you to scoot back on it if you’re taller like me and wanna extend your legs a bit while riding! In closing this bike is amazing. It’s a step above any other Ebike out there. No corners were cut. Every bit of feedback was considered. This bike is easily worth its price tag. There’s no doubt in my mind that just like with the release of the Bolt M-1 in 2015, Monday motorbikes is going to set a new trend in the Ebike market that other companies will hopefully follow!
